The Lost Bottle

The moon went up in the sky as I walked through the forest. It was dark and really wet out there. I could barely see anything. I zipped up my pocket to get my flashlight. I found it in my left pocket and I turned it on as I continued to walk through. At the very far end I could see that the forest ended. I continued to walk towards the light at the end of the forest. Suddenly I was there, on a beach. No one was there, just me. The sand was soft and the waves were high. I was lost out there, didn´t know where to go, just looked around. I didn´t even know which way I came from. I felt something hard and sharp in the sand. I kneeled down in the sand and started digging. I found something really wet. It was a bottle with shells on it. As I was holding it with one hand I tried to open the lost bottle. The cut on my hand was from the very sharp shells. Blood was dripping down as I opened it carefully. It was almost impossible but I kept on trying. I threw the bottle against a rock but it didn´t want to open. I started walking again as I heard a weird noise coming from behind me. Immediately I turned back, to look where the noise came from. The bottle was open. I picked it up and looked inside the bottle. I had absolutely no clue of what was in it. At least the bottle was a hundred years old. Probably it had been lying on the bottom of the sea. I took a closer look inside it. I saw a big shell inside it. I took the shell out from the bottle. The shell was already open. Perhaps nothing was in it. The bottle was also full with sand, so I poured the sand out. Something very shiny was found on the bottom of the bottle. It was a pink pearl. I put it inside my pocket and threw back the bottle into the sea. I walked near by the water again to see fi I could find something new that might have been a hundred years old. I said to myself as I walked away, “I have never been this lucky as I am now, in my whole life, and I am never going to be”.
