Spring Break!

Laos! On spring break I went to Laos for one week. I visited both the main city Vientiane for one night and Luang Prabang for about 6 days. Luang Prabang was a very nice city to visit. We saw nightmarkets at the street, so my mum and I brought a lot of stuff from the markets, it was quite chep. You could get two shawls for 40,000 Kip (twenty RM). One night we went to the elephant lodge, where we stayed overnight. We got to ride the elephants, take a bath with them and feed them, it was so much fun. We spent one an a half day with the elephants. The next half day, before we went home, we hiked for a few hours and then we were supposed to take the canoes back to the lodge. We could not take them back because it started raining so we hiked back in the wet mud and the cold rain. The last bit we went home by car to Luang Prabang. That was so much fun, of course not the rain, but everything else. We spent some more days in Laung Prabang and then one night in Vientiane. In Vientiane we looked at weird budda sculptures, and we saw a few temples. That was less fun but it was still okay. I was very tired that day after walking around in town. When we woke up, I was sad and very happy to take the plane home to KL, because I wanted to stay there for longer vacation and go home later, but at the same time I wanted to go home and rest before school started. I got on the plane and I fell a sleep as soon as the plane left the ground for KL.
